Acts 13:47
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
When a man gets born again, he’s born into light. God is light and dwells in light, so that man is born in the image of God, and the image of God is light.
The Lord says, I have set you to be a light to the Gentiles, i.e. to enlighten and bring illumination to those who sits in darkness, to those who have no true knowledge or revelation of God, to those who are strangers to the true manner of worshipping the Lord.
The Lord has appointed us to be a light to those who have no knowledge about the Messiah, and of his righteousness, his salvation and of the operations of his grace.
The Lord has appointed us to be a light to those who are lukewarm, half-hearted and indifferent about the gospel, to those who are yet to encounter the living word, with a mission to bring the jewel of a soul to the crown of the saviour.
Salvation is the ultimate reason why God wants your dreams to be connected to His dream; that way, your motives will always reflect His vision of having all men saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.
Let’s pray: Father Lord thank you for I have your light in me, illuminating in me in the radiance of your glory. My life is set to be for a light unto the dark places of the earth. I shine and illuminate with the beams of the gospel of Christ unto the salvation, healing and deliverance of souls in Jesus name..
