TO BE BORN AGAIN
John 3:1-3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
To be ‘born again’ means to be born anew or born from above.
Born again is not a second birth but the only birth. A man is only born once when they are born of God…
The natural birth is a shadow of the real birth, which is to be born again, or to be born anew.
The outcome of what Jesus did gave birth to the new creation. We are a product of the redemptive work of Christ.
The shed blood of Christ made it possible for Jesus to have children by predestination, foreknowledge and by election.
1 Peter 1:2 – Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
The born again experience is powerful, it is filled with joy, love, peace, power, hope. it’s a real experience. It represents the only possibility for radical transformation in our lives. The only possibility for true purpose and meaning in this life and all of eternity
You’re here and looking for real answers, real truth, help from life’s displeasures, and turmoil of life, only Jesus can give the true water and you will never thirst again.
You can come into the newness of life today by faith, inviting Christ into your heart and accepting him as your Lord and personal saviour..
LET’S PRAY: Dear Lord, thank you for your shed blood that has made it possible to be your child. And by this shed blood, I acknowledge and repent of my sins, and open my heart to you to be filled by your Spirit unto a new life in you and with you. I declare that I am saved, sealed and secured by the sacrifice of Jesus for me.
My life is completely changed and transformed through sanctification of the Spirit to live unto Christ forever and ever.
